The Hill brings a slice of the Alps to Rossendale. Set in the picturesque valley, it is the premier outdoor ski and snowboarding centre in the UK. Being a fun, family adventure with personal, professional coaching for everyone.

Whether that be challenging yourself by skiing or snowboarding or just feeling the rush of wind as you tube down the slope. With friendly, experienced coaches, the Hill is a safe environment for all, whether it’s learning from the beginning or sharpening up your technique.

Summer Race League is BACK FOR 2024!

Designed for newcomers eager to dive into the world of racing, as well as seasoned competitors yearning for a more relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re itching to explore something new or simply crave the thrill of race day without the usual pressures, our Summer Fun Race League at The Hill is for you. 

Racers must be 5+.  The format is open practice throughout the course, followed by 3 timed runs in the morning. The afternoon will be the head-to-head races in groups of 4 skiers followed by the prize giving.

*Please note our main slope will be out of use on Sunday 28th April, Thursday 2nd May (5:30pm till close) & Sunday 16th June. Due to race events. Please note that our beginner slope will still be open to continue tasters and lessons. Please feel free to come and spectate our race days and support participates. Drinks and food served from our friends over at Ninja Coffee.
